Founded by Kenneth Dell in 1995, Carlton House was at first devoted solely to the restoration of fine antique furniture.  We have had the opportunity to work on a very broad range of interesting and challenging projects.  These have ranged from the restoration of the large collection of important American pieces in Gracie Mansion in New York City (including numerous Duncan Phyffe originals), to the conservation of the 18thCentury paneling of the Chapel at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America.

Recognized as a leader in the field, Carlton House has provided restoration services for clients around the world.  These services include all manner of wood-work restoration, from replacement of missing pieces with truly matching material, repair of splits, loose structure, broken elements, to veneer work and marquetry; as well as a broad range of finish restoration, from precise touch ups, French polish, and English wax finishing, to restoration of Japanned, lacquered, painted and gilt surfaces.
