CHARLES II STYLE OAK CHEST OF DRAWERS
Inspired by a late 17th century English piece, this piece was dimensioned to fit a particular space. Traditional solid wood construction methods such as hand cut dovetailed drawers, floating solid quatersawn panels, and mortise and tenon joints were used throughout. The surface is distressed, antiqued, and patinated appropriately, and finished to an open pore sheen with waxed shellac.
